  The CHEO Foundation is the fundraising arm of The Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, a pediatric hospital that handles over 118,000 visits to their ambulatory clinics and over 56,000 emergency patients each year.
  
  The Foundation's mission is: To further the physical, mental and social well-being of children and their families in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec by raising, managing and disbursing funds.

The foundation raises funds by soliciting donations, receiving planned gifts, bequests and grants, and by organizing special events and lotteries.
